TRAVEL TIPS

Flights into International Airport San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC) are closest to our Patagonia destination for the retreat. Travel time from the airport to Villa La Angostura is about an hour and a half from the airport and can be arranged by us.

Other Options

For a more economical option, you could also fly into Buenos Aires (EZE) International airport and spend a few days before or after the retreat, then fly to Bariloche to meet us. A domestic flight within Argentina is about 2 hours and less than $200usd if that makes more sense for your budget.

We will pair arrivals and departures at similar times into and out of BRC to share costs. Airport transfers are not included in the package.  Please let us know if you have any questions about travel details.

Patagonia Yoga Retreat Accommodations

A gorgeous refuge nestled into the mountains of Patagonia, La Escondida is a rustic-chic boutique hotel standing among the most beautiful landscapes of Villa La Angostura on the banks of Lago Nahuel Huapi. Its modern architecture and refined, uniquely decorated rooms feature lake views, warm decor and incredible hospitality. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars. There are both Deluxe and Superior rooms on offer with ensuite baths and lake views.

Other amenities include a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a bar, a heated outdoor infinity pool overlooking the lake, a state-of-the-art spa with gym, a hot tub and saunas, as well as massage services.

Delfina, a quaint, lake-view restaurant onsite is one of the top restaurants in the area serving delicious, inventive local cuisine and wines. We will enjoy 3 meals included in the package here and any other meals on your own you might wish to have within a few steps of your room. Breakfast consists of freshly-baked breads, local jams, dairy products, fresh fruit juice and home-made cakes. The afternoon is the perfect time of the day to visit the roofed garden and have a Yerba Mate or a glass of Malbec like the locals.

The rooms are spacious, bright and lively all with a view to the lake yet, they slightly differ from one another as each of them has been decorated with a special touch. All the amenities that are offered at La Escondida are in harmony with the philosophy of this boutique hotel. Artisanal bath products  are made from local plants like elder and myrtle.

Patagonia Yoga Retreat Payments

Deposits* of $1,000usd are due to secure your space in the retreat.

The balance of your retreat (minus your $1,000usd initial deposit*) is due 90 days prior to arrival. All details for this will be emailed to the group three months before the retreat.

Roommates should book together. If you would like to share a room and do not have a roommate we will provide one for you if possible. In the case that there is no one to share a room we ask that you take a private economy room instead.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that with the ever-changing policies with travel to Cuba we will adjust our Support for the Cuban People trips as necessary to make it possible to carry out our retreats as planned. By making deposits towards your trip you accept the risk that alternative routes may become necessary in order to join. We will do all we can in order to assist you in your travel needs. Cancellations made within 90 days or less of arrival are 100% non refundable. All deposits are non-refundable.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

The acceptance of a verbal or written confirmation from YOGA & ADVENTURES WORLDWIDE (Y&AWW) constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein. Participants are responsible to be adequately insured, therefore Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended*. Y&AWW and its staff assume no responsibility nor liability for any delay, loss, damage, injury or accident with regards to persons or property which may be caused by fault or negligence of any third party vendor. This includes hotels, transportation providers, and local operators participating in part for our services. Y&AWW shall be held harmless for any expense caused by injury or accident, to any participants as well as any loss or damage of personal items while on our tours. We reserve the right to make any changes to services and itineraries, with or without notice, which may become necessary.

Yoga & Adventures Worldwide, its affiliates, retreat facilitators, hotels, third party vendors, and tour providers, the ownership, or staff, of course, cannot be held responsible for events that are outside of our control. There are no refunds as per our cancellation policies. We highly recommend that all of our guests secure a quality travel insurance that will cover them for ANY event which may cause for a change of travel plans, or for ANY unfortunate event including but of course not limited to:

– Transportation delays, cancellations or changes due to strikes, labor disputes, or lockouts from airlines, boats, ferries or any type of transportation
– Any inconvenience or complication caused by bad weather, storms, and hurricanes : a direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike
– Government/political actions, events or situations; threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war.
– Personal health issues or personal situations in general which may affect travel plans
– Any loss, theft or damage of personal items at any stage of your trip
– Any accident causing injury during any stage of your trip
