Day of the Dead Yoga Retreat

Day of the Dead Yoga Retreat

in Oaxaca, Mexico

A unique yoga retreat to celebrate Mexico, its culture, cuisine, wonders of nature, and artistic expression in Oaxaca, Mexico. Soulful yoga will anchor each day. Traditional Mexican cooking class, luxury villa accommodations, nature excursions, optional spa services, lots of markets and shopping time will round out our days on retreat here in beautiful Oaxaca.

During the Dia de Muertos celebration dates we will create an alter of our own, adorn ourselves and venture out into the cemeteries and the streets to partake in this incredibly powerful tradition celebrating the lives of our loved ones lost. Death and dying is such an interesting topic and the way Mexicans view it is, for me quite impressive. It’s a time of remembering and reuniting with loved ones, once per year in a very real and heartfelt way. Join us for either set of dates to explore this rich culture with food, tradition, architecture and nature. Viva Mexico!

Day of the Dead Yoga RETREAT

in Oaxaca, Mexico

A unique yoga retreat to celebrate Mexican cuisine, the wonders of nature, art & expression and the incredible tradition of Dia de los Muertos in Oaxaca, Mexico, the heart of the Day of the Dead celebration. Soulful yoga will anchor each day.

Our retreat will embrace the festivities that unfold over the three days of the holiday, October 31, November 1 & 2, in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy. During this time we will create our own alter for loved ones lost, we will each have the chance for face paintings Catrina-style to head out into the town to celebrate with the locals in parades, parties, song and dance.

Oaxaca is the home of Mexico’s most amazing cuisine. We will explore the food markets, agave fields, experience a cooking class, taste mezcal and be pampered with incredible meals with local chefs. Luxury villa accommodations, nature excursions, optional spa services, and shopping time will round out our days on retreat here in beautiful Oaxaca.

We are thrilled for this amazing experience and look forward to exploring Oaxaca together with you. Don’t miss this incredible retreat adventure!
