Tulum has some amazing food and we send you our Recommended Restaurant list just before the retreat to help you navigate the many wonderful choices!  We may also venture out as a group on occasion if that appeals.

Please note airfare and airport transfers are not included in this package.

Taxis are not allowed to wait outside the Cancun International airport at arrivals so a transfer needs to be arranged for a private car service pick up or there is a local bus that takes you to Tulum town (please review our FAQ page for full details on the bus).

If you would like us to arrange transportation to and from the airport for you please let us know by sending your full flight itinerary and we will send instructions for finding your driver.  We will try our best to pair those arriving at similar times together in an attempt to share the costs (a rate of $85usd per person each way for shared) or if you need a private ride (at a rate of $135usd each way) we are happy make those arrangements.

This room has a king bed on the first level and beyond the curtain is a shared double room on the
mezzanine level. There is a full bathroom also ensuite but shared with others.

Located on the 2nd floor, this mezzanine room has the king bedroom below separated w/ a curtain.

Any change will be on par with our standards or an upgrade in services or location making for an even more amazing experience for the group and our guests. ACCOMMODATIONS

Enjoy our own private villa right on the beach road in Tulum. Ocean across the street, steps from all of Tulum’s hottest attractions, and miles of beach to walk. Plus we have our own private pool and beautiful yoga space. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 shared indoor bathrooms and a pool bathroom, dining area to enjoy breakfast, a restaurant across the street, and an ample yoga space for outdoor practice.

Each room is unique with different views and features.  Room #1 offers a king bed on the first level with a mezzanine holding two twin beds on the second floor as seen below. There is a bathroom on the king bedroom level. Room #2 is a lofted area above the dining area featuring another two twin beds. Bathrooms for second level are shared either downstairs or upstairs.

Rooms #3 & #5 offer ocean views from the top floor of the house. One room has a queen bed and the other has a king. There is plenty of closet space, a secret walkway outside for ocean views, and two bathrooms in the hallway to share amongst the three rooms upstairs.

Room #4 is also on the third floor.  It has a king bed and jungle views.

Tulum is an ecological zone which means rustic luxury. We have electricity and solar powered internet 24 hours per day. Sheets and towels are changed only when necessary to conserve our precious natural resources and we offer ocean breezes instead of air conditioning. Most of the year the weather is very comfortable and you are lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves just steps from your bed.  We heat our own water for showers and tread lightly on the land that hosts us all.

Payments :

Deposits* of $500usd are due to secure your space in the retreat.

The balance of your retreat (minus your $500usd initial deposit*) is due 60 days prior to arrival. All details for this will be emailed to the group two months before the retreat.

You may pay with a credit card via PayPal or you may choose a bank wire transfer or deposit to settle your balance. We also accept Bitcoin.

Roommates should book together. If you would like to share a room and do not have a roommate we will provide one for you if possible. In the case that there is no one to share a room we ask that you take a private economy room instead.

To make your deposit, please click the link below. You will be directed to Paypal.com. A 4% fee will be charged with this method unless you have an active PP account. Please contact us if so and we will send you a special deposit invoice.

Final balance of your retreat will be due 60 days prior to arrival.  Please let us know if you prefer to pay via bank wire transfer or via credit card with Paypal (4% fee applies). Balances are due upon receipt of invoice. Personal checks are no longer accepted. We are not able to accept physical credit cards in Tulum. All extra activities will be paid in cash in Tulum. Mexican pesos or US Dollars at the daily rate are both accepted.  Thank you for your understanding and promptness with your payments.

POLICIES

All initial deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Balances will be due 60 days prior to retreat start date. Cancellations on or after 60 days prior to retreat dates are non-refundable and non-transferable. This cancellation policy is strict and firm. If you need to leave the retreat early there are no refunds or pro-rates.

There are no refunds for natural disasters. Springtime is highly unlikely to have hurricanes, the weather is the best of the year with calm waters, clear skies, and temperatures in the low 80s.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

The acceptance of a verbal or written confirmation from YOGA ADVENTURES TULUM (YATU) or YOGA ADVENTURES WORLDE (YAWW) constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein. Participants are responsible to be adequately insured, therefore Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended*. YATU, YAWW, third party hotels and its staff assume no responsibility nor liability for any delay, loss, damage, injury or accident with regards to persons or property which may be caused by fault or negligence of any third party vendor. This includes hotels, transportation providers, and local operators participating in part for our services. YATU/YAWW shall be held harmless for any expense caused by injury or accident, to any participants as well as any loss or damage of personal items while on our tours. We reserve the right to make any changes to services and itineraries, with or without notice, which may become necessary. YATU/YAWW are not to be held responsible for changes beyond our control, this includes bad weather or hurricanes; any inconvenience or complication caused by a hurricane’s direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike. There are no refunds due to flight cancellations or changes, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts, threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war.

By submitting payments toward your retreat you accept these Terms and Conditions.

We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance to protect your investment. AIG offers Travel Guard at affordable rates. You will be asked if you have chosen to purchase insurance or declined at final balance due.

This amazing video was made by Lobo Viejo Films for us when we had our own little gem on the beach in Tulum called Utopia from 2012 until 2016. It was a unique, sacred place that was taken from us by a corrupt Mexican government way too soon but we will always hold it near and dear to our hearts. For those of you that got to experience this retreat center you are fortunate.

We duplicate the experience of our Yoga + Spa retreats in our new home at Zamas in our stunning, private villa Casa Vallejo which has MUCH more amenities than Utopia so for THAT our new and returning guests are fortunate 😉
